Working with many rare forms of blood disorders, the Stanford Hematology Program brings together a multispecialty team of experts dedicated to treating leukemia as well as other benign and malignant hematologic disorders.
Our Liver and Spleen Volume Service offers measurements of the liver and spleen, including total volumes and specific subvolumes. This service is particularly beneficial for patients undergoing treatments that may affect the size of these organs, allowing healthcare providers to monitor changes over time. Accurate volume measurements can assist in evaluating organ functionality and monitoring the effects of treatments that might impact liver and spleen health. We provide various imaging outputs, such as 3D reconstructions of the liver and spleen, Maximum Intensity Projections (MIPs), segmentation batches, and length measurements.
