Our Abdominal Bleed Service provides imaging to assist with locating and assessing sources of abdominal bleeding. The service employs Curved Planar Reformation (CPR) to enhance visualization of blood vessels by straightening their curved structures, making it easier to identify bleeding sources along vascular pathways. Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP) is also utilized to highlight the brightest areas in the scan, which are indicative of active bleeding or dense structures, aiding in identification of bleeding sources.
Our Emergency Imaging Service specializes in 3D post-processing of Abdomen CT angiography images, tailored to improve the management of emergency and trauma care settings. This service enhances the visualization of complex vascular and anatomical structures within the abdomen by providing clear views of trauma and various other pathologies. The imaging produced by our 3D techniques supports more thorough assessments, aiding in precise diagnoses and the formulation of effective treatment plans in urgent care situations.
By facilitating the detection of subtle signs and offering a deeper understanding of the patient's condition, our Emergency Imaging Service may assist healthcare professionals by promoting rapid, informed decision-making in emergency and trauma care situations.
Our Emergency Neuro Service offers imaging through Curved Planar Reformation (CPR) for the assessment of the carotid and vertebral arteries, targeting conditions like stenosis, dissection, or injury. This service is provided in emergency neurology cases, where accurate and swift diagnosis is crucial for effective intervention. Utilizing a series of 3D Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP) images, we create visualizations from various perspectives, enhancing the clarity and detail of arterial evaluations.
The service includes axial, coronal, and sagittal batches of MIP images, each provided to capture the arterial system's intricate anatomy. Furthermore, our Emergency Neuro Service features a MIP Movie that rotates from right to left, giving healthcare professionals a rotational visualization of the arteries for a more interactive and comprehensive assessment. We aim to support the quick diagnosis and management of neurovascular emergencies, enabling timely and effective patient care.
